The “ Sign on gold ” concept intentionally
uses gold for the background Under-layer as it will
be the most appropriate material to use in this
case keeping in mind the following :
1.It will not be possible to reproduce the “Gold”
metallic color and finish by any of the present
or future copying/scanning techniques.
2. The built in Gold check feature of the proposed
specialized scanner will be an additional security
advantage.
3. The “ Sign on gold ” which will
become such a powerful multi-purpose tool in the
hands of an individual empowering him / her to enjoy
ultimate in freedom & convenience in all interactions
with the society need necessarily be associated
with the primacy of Gold. Here it should be mentioned
that “ Sign on gold ” will involve very
small quantity of gold per signature and about 80%
of the gold can / will be reclaimed by suitable
process etc., The cost factor will also prevent
frivolous use of “ Sign on gold ” also
in this digital age most of normal computer documents
will not need a signature.
4. Another indirect but major advantage of the "
Sign on gold ” will be its contribution
towards finding a permanent solution to the glut
in gold availability to retain the primacy of gold
for a long time to come for every one’s benefit.
There seems to be NO other Way for a long term
solution to the Problem, except by bringing in some
new way of Gold usage in a consumable manner by
a large Section of the population world-wide.
The “sign on Gold ” concept if appropriately
promoted could easily create this required new Gold
usage, in ten years it could easily turn out to
be a segment consuming more than 1500 tons of gold
in a year.
In fact the estimate of 200 million users in the
initial stages world wide is a conservative estimate
if viewed from the following angle :
It is estimated that in the past 10-15 years more
than a Billion computers have been sold world wide,
Out of which more than 750 million has been paid
out by corporate bodies, Now if it is assumed that
most of this is used by individuals and the computer
itself has been paid and bought by the corporate
is an indication that “ the TOOL to work with
has been provided by the corporate to ultimately
serve its own purpose ”
Now is it possible to think of any other “
TOOL ” in the hands of more persons, more
widely used than a “PEN ”
So there is every possibility that ultimately every
Corporate body would be more than willing to empower
their employee and foot the bill for the “PEN”
as well as the gold paste cartridge used in this
“sign on Gold ” concept.
So based on the above mentioned logic, it is very
safe to assume that more than 200 million people
will be using this concept in the initial stages
and on an average use two cartridges of gold paste
in a year, each cartridge having say 4 gram of gold
content.
This will translate into :
8 gram X 200,000,000 = 1600 Tons per year,
It can reasonably be expected, this segment of
users will continuously increase year after year
to absorb the increase in gold mined in future ensuring
that that the value of the gold will remain at its
high value for a very long time to come.
Some collected data connected with gold ( may need
correction)
75% of gold usage is for Jewellery.
5-10% industrial uses.
Rest used as monitory reserve
World Gold production approx 4000 tons/year.
Gold held officially as monitory reserve approx
40,000 tons.
Gold held by USA as official reserve approx 10,000
tons( 25% of total world official reserve) Value
approx – 100 Billion Dollars.
Just imagine the asset depreciation if and when
the gold price falls by say 20%!!!
